The new Land Rover Defender 130 is out for tests

Land Rover has taken to road tests of the latest all-terrain Defender 130.

The novelty can be distinguished from the standard variant by a lengthened wheelbase. The car is expected on the shelves in 2022.

The extended Defender 130 is heavily camouflaged, and paparazzi caught it on tests near Land Rover headquarters, located in Warwickshire, UK.

The car has eight seats, making it the most spacious and roomy in the Defender family of all-terrain vehicles.

The new Defender 130 is 5100 mm, which is 342 mm longer than the 110.

The engine range will include hybrid units on gasoline and diesel. The top-end engine will be a supercharged V8 with 542 horsepower.
