Hyundai circulated a photo on its official Instagram page that announced the new Bayon compact crossover's debut.
The car, which will be the company's most affordable parkettes in Europe, will officially debut on March 2.
European Hyundai lineup will get the Bayon crossover before the Kona model. The model's main rivals are Ford EcoSport, Fiat Panda City Cross, and the new Dacia Sandero Stepway.
Most likely, Hyundai Bayon will be based on the compact hatchback i20, with which the new car will share motors: 1.0-liter 3-cylinder supercharged engines with 100-120 hp. Transmissions include 6-speed manual transmission or 7-band dual-clutch "robot." The novelty is front-wheel drive only.
