Toyota Supra A90 Final Edition: The End of an Era

Toyota Supra A90 Final Edition: The Last Hurrah

Toyota has announced the A90 Final Edition, a limited-run coupe that signifies the end of the current-generation Supra. With only 300 units to be produced, this track-focused special comes with a range of upgrades over the standard six-cylinder model. While it was anticipated that Toyota would utilize the powerful S58 engine from BMW's M division, the Final Edition retains the B58 engine. However, power has been significantly increased to 429 hp, along with a boost in torque. The A90 Final Edition also features various enhancements such as larger brakes, adjustable suspension, titanium exhaust, and lightweight wheels with wider tires.

Performance and Design Upgrades

The A90 Final Edition boasts several performance enhancements. The aerodynamic package includes a carbon fiber front spoiler and a rear swan-neck wing. It also comes equipped with a strengthened subframe, enhanced suspension, and improved electric power steering. Inside, the Final Edition showcases carbon fiber Recaro seats, red seatbelts, and Alcantara surfaces.

Continuation of the Supra Legacy

Alongside the Final Edition, Toyota is launching the Lightweight Evo, a revised version of the Supra 3.0 for global markets. This model offers various upgrades including Brembo brakes, rear underfloor brace, and carbon fiber spoiler. Although the production end date for the current-generation Supra has not been confirmed, Toyota suggests that a successor is already in the works.
