Volvo electric cars will have a range of 1,000 km

Volvo wants to significantly increase the range of electric cars by speeding up the charging process.

The Swedes are preparing new technologies for improved lithium-ion batteries for second-generation electric cars.

Till 2025 the company will present the third generation of electric cars. Most likely, the models will have an increased range, and the batteries will be built into the floor compartment of the vehicle.

The Swedes also want to halve the time to charge an electric car thanks to better technology and better software.

Volvo also said that special attention would be paid to the battery, for example, through blockchain technology.
