Volkswagen ID.2 shown in photos for the first time
A photo of Volkswagen's new electric car ID.2, the electric successor to the Taigo and Nivus, has circulated on the Internet.
The car is expected to be on free sale from 2025.
The model is an electric-powered crossover that boasts a modern design with almost invisible optics.
The company is building the crossover on the advanced SSP architecture that allows the introduction of front- or all-wheel drive in the car. The model will have an electric motor with 100-150 "horses" capacity. The company has not reported yet about a range of the novelty.
Volkswagen has planned the beginning of commercial production of the electric ID.2 in 2025. Dealers will ask at least 20-25 thousand euros for the novelty in Europe.
