Toyota Yaris Cross miniature crossover prepared for the off-road version

Toyota has declassified a new version of a small crossover Yaris Cross - Adventure.

The car is fully adapted for severe off-road driving if we compare it with the standard version.

Toyota Yaris Cross Adventure can be distinguished from the car's simple version with new reinforced bumpers, silver roof rails, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and a unique interior trim in a dark gold shade. The option is a projection screen with an electrically operated trunk door.

Technically, the car remains unchanged. Toyota Yaris Cross Adventure has hybrid installation, which consists of a 1,5-liter 3-cylinder petrol "atmospheric" engine with 80 "horses," a compact electric motor for the back axle, and a set of lithium-ion batteries. The total output of motors reaches 115 hp. As a standard, the installation transfers torque to the front axle. Thus it is possible to connect back wheels if necessary.

The serial release of Toyota Yaris Cross Adventure will be in France in the summer, and sales in Europe will begin in September.
