Toyota announced the debut of its newest SUV
In a fresh teaser, Toyota showed a video that focuses on the latest crossover.
Toyota states: "Be prepared for a new look at a familiar face."
The novelty will officially debut on June 2. The Japanese company has not yet disclosed the name of the car. It is known that the crossover will appear in the U.S. firstly.
Carscoops write that the novelty is a crossover Corolla Cross, intended for the North American market. Externally the SUV resembles the "older" RAV4 of the new generation with the interior of the last Corolla. The novelty will get 161 mm of ground clearance.
The motor assortment of the auto consists of a 1.8-liter petrol atmospheric unit with 140 "horses" and 175 Nm. Also, the crossover will have a hybrid unit consisting of a 100-horsepower gasoline engine, electric motor, and battery.
