The announcement of a new Volkswagen SUV in the ID lineup took place

At the launch of Volkswagen's ID.4 GTX electric crossover, the debut of the second new entry in the ID lineup was announced.

It will premiere later this year.

The car, which will be called ID.5, will be a "more stylish version" of the ID.4. It will have a coupe-like body, reduced rear windows, and an aerodynamic dodger.

Technically the novelty will be identical to crossover ID.4. We shall remind you that the initial variant of the automobile will get an electric motor for the rear axle with a capacity of 204 horsepower and a set of lithium-ion batteries of 58 kilowatt-hours.

No one knows precisely when the Volkswagen ID.5 will appear yet. As for the ID.4 GTX, this car will be available in Europe this summer. For Germany, the cost of new items will be at least 50,400 euros.
