Paparazzi caught on tests electric Renault MeganE

The latest electric compact crossover Renault MeganE has left for tests.

The official premiere of the model will take place on September 6 at the Munich Motor Show.

Frenchmen have created Renault MeganE on Megane eVision 2020 prototype. The serial version of the car will strongly remind the concept externally. The electric SUV is made on CMF-EV architecture. The car will get at least two versions, and everything will depend on the electric unit with a battery.

The MeganE interior differs from the standard Megane with two digital displays and a touchscreen infotainment system. Under the big screen are buttons that provide quick access to essential car functions.

Renault wants to start selling the MeganE from 2022, and its main rival will be the Volkswagen ID.4.
