Latest Tesla Roadster unveiled

Tesla is ready to unveil the latest electric supercar, the Roadster. The long-awaited event will take place next year. 

Elon Musk shared the information on his Twitter. The Director of the American company said that the design of the car should end in 2021. Tesla will approve the plan of the novelty this summer.

Additionally, several technical characteristics of the Roadster of the new generation have become known. The car will get three electric motors, as updated Model S and Model X. The new Roadster, according to Musk, will become a real rocket. 

Electrek also reports that the car will receive some technologies from SpaceX in the form of options. The first hundred kilometers per hour, the electric vehicle will pick up in less than 2 seconds. It has a cruising range of 965 km. The minimum price of the car is $200 000.

The Roadster launch will be preceded by a Cybertruck electric pickup, which has already been ordered by over half a million people.
