BMW declassified characteristics of new electric car

German concern has revealed technical data of BMW i4 sedan with an electric motor.

The car has the newest system, iDrive, "digital cockpit," which received large screens and two power plants.

The base eDrive40 will delight future customers with the 340 hp and 416 Nm rear axle engine. It takes 5.7 seconds to reach the first 100 km per hour with a top speed of 189 km per hour. Also, the base version is equipped with a battery of 84 kWh, giving the car a 590 km range on the cycle WLTP.

The most expensive version of the i4 M50 has a 2-motor powertrain. The car produces 544 hp and 795 Nm, which allows the vehicle to accelerate to 100 km per hour in 3.9 seconds. The top speed is 225 km per hour, and on a single charge, the model in this version can cover 510 kilometers.

We should add that each version of the model supports 200-kilowatt charging.
