Volkswagen will create a cheap mass electric car
The German company Volkswagen intends to create a global electric car with a small size.
Reuters writes that the company plans a similar car due to more stringent measures by countries to achieve "zero emissions."
For example, in the UK until 2030, they want to ban cars with internal combustion engines and hybrids. Volkswagen is confident that such restrictions will allow them to sell about 60% of hybrids and electric vehicles in Europe in 10 years.
The project is still called Small BEV. The car is comparable in size to the Polo, and its price will be about 25,000 euros. It turns out that the Small BEV will be cheaper than the current Volkswagen ID.3 electric car.
