Toyota Hilux updated and debuted

Toyota showed in the photo an updated version of the Hilux pickup.

The debut of the new car took place in Thailand. Here, the vehicle will begin its sales in late June, and the pickup will reach Europe at the end of 2020.

The design of the updated novelty resembles the fifth-generation RAV4 crossover. From the previous generation, the pickup can be distinguished by a large radiator with horizontal bars, brand new air intakes, smaller foglights, as well as other optics.

The driver has at his disposal an improved multimedia system with an 8-inch screen. Electricians have the Toyota Safety Sense package, which includes an advanced “cruise” and a lane control function.

The updated pickup got an improved 2.8-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 204 hp in technical terms and 500 Nm. The first hundred km per hour, the updated Hilux picks up in 10 seconds, with average fuel consumption of 7.8 l/100 km — the engine pairs with a 6-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. The company also said that the novelty equipped with improved suspension and shock absorbers.
