The new sports version of BMW 1-Series coming soon
The tests of the BMW 1-Series with 265 hp engine are completed.
It is a new sports version of the hatchback with the index 128ti. The car received a sports suspension, a powerful engine, front-wheel drive, due to which its weight is 80 kg less compared to the BMW M135i xDrive.
The two-liter four-cylinder engine of the car develops 265 horsepower. Acceleration to hundreds is 6.1 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 250 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The car will compete with the Volkswagen Golf GTI. In the BMW lineup, it sits in front of the all-wheel-drive M135i xDrive.
Acceptance of orders on the European market will begin in November this year.
