Land Rover will be removed diesel V8 engine
For about ten years, Land Rover is produced in a turbodiesel version with a V8 engine from Ford, the volume of which is 4.4 liters and a capacity of 339 hp.
Now such a motor is installed on the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport 2019. However, we will not see it in new generations of diesel.
The successor of the 8-cylinder engine will be a soft 3-liter hybrid, which will be released in two versions: the D300 with a starter and the D350. It is specified that the names are conditional.
The most potent version of the new engine will be presented with a capacity of 345 hp. and 700 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h is possible in 6.5 seconds. Fuel consumption per 100 kilometers will be approximately 8 liters.
