Geneva auto show canceled due to coronavirus
A health-hazardous virus caused the cancellation of the Geneva motor show, which took place annually, starting in 1947.
The international exhibition, which was to be held in Geneva from March 5 to 15, was canceled by the Swiss authorities due to the spread of a new coronavirus type.
The following information appeared on the site of the auto show:
“The 90th Geneva International Salon is finally canceled. This is a decision of the Federal Council of February 28. The organizers are sorry, but the health of the participants is a top priority. Force majeure happened, and for car manufacturers, it is a huge loss.”
Tickets purchased earlier for the exhibition can be returned and receive a refund.
