BMW X8 M must become a fully independent car

The creation of the “hot” hybrid BMW X8 M will be assigned entirely to the M division.

According to a new leak, the cross will turn out to be a completely independent car: the model will be created from scratch on a base that differs from the current X7 flagship.

The BMW X8 M, in theory, will turn out to be the most potent M-model for the entire existence of the company. A hybrid installation will drive the SUV based on a 4.4-liter V8 bi-turbo motor paired with a 200-horsepower eDrive electric motor. The combined return will be set at 750 hp. and 1000 Nm. Certain electrical technologies from the new product will be transferred to the iX3 and iNext models.

There are many rumors about the model, but experts are more inclined to believe that the X8 M will be the first BMW M unit of its own.
