BMW 4-Series Coupe is already testes

BMW took up the final road tests of the new generation 4-Series Coupe.

The company talked about some interesting data about the new product, having published at the same time a photo of the test prototype of the machine.

Today, Bavarian engineers are adjusting the latest innovations in the chassis of the Coupe, testing a car in Munich. The company says that the base of the newest Quartet will acquire unique settings. Compared with the brand new 3-Series, the Coupe will receive a reduced drag coefficient. Another vehicle will exit below the Sedan, having a lower center of gravity.

The BMW 4-Series will be powered by a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder petrol engine with two turbines of 374 horsepower and 500 Nm. The unit operates according to the mild-hybrid scheme, where there are a 48-volt onboard system and a compact electric motor that gives an additional 11 “horses” during sharp accelerations.

Most likely, the new generation of the BMW 4-Series will officially debut this summer. Cars will appear on sale either at the end of 2020 or at the beginning of 2021.
