Audi Q5 Sportback premieres for Europe

The new Q5 Sportback crossover's sports modification received a three-liter V6 diesel engine, which works together with a 48 W onboard system, a lithium-ion battery, and a starter-generator. 

 

This design of the car provides improved traction during acceleration and saves fuel. New forged steel pistons reduce heat loss, and the motor has solenoid valves and an improved intercooler. The engine develops a power of 341 h.p. and 700 Nm of torque. 

 

Up to a hundred Audi Q5 Sportback accelerates in 5.1 seconds. The manufacturer limits the maximum speed to 250 km/h. 

 

This car is equipped with a sporty, stiffer suspension. As additional options, adjustable shock absorbers and an adaptive pneumatic system are offered, which allows you to change the ground clearance, increasing the ground clearance by 45 mm or, on the contrary, decreasing by 15 mm, depending on the quality of the road surface. 

 

Prices have not yet been announced, the start of sales in Europe is the first half of 2021.
