The new Volkswagen Golf was declassified by design

Volkswagen has taken up the latest tests of Golf 8 generation. AutoExpress fixed a new car without camouflage. Rumors say that Golf will debut this summer.

Car production will be starting in June at the plant in the German city of Wolfsburg. Total investment in the development of new items reached about 1.8 billion euros, and the preparation of production itself requires another 3 billion euros.

The company says that the eighth generation of Golf will receive the most large-scale transformation in all its 45 years of existence. The novelty prepares another optics, radiator, and also a bumper. Even German designers will make some kind of 'revolution' in the car.

Improved scalable base MQB will help the car to ease 35-70 kg. Among the engines will be a new family of 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engines, plus 1.5-liter diesel. Another eighth Golf will get a performance with a hybrid installation and the ability to recharge batteries from a simple electrical network.
