The first hybrid car from Skoda goes into production

The hybrid will appear on the market in 2020.

Skoda started serial production of the first hybrid in its history in Kvasiny, Czech Republic. The novelty is Superb iV Sedan.

The production goes on the line, where all other Superb versions made. To modernize the capacity of an enterprise, the Czechs spent about 12 million euros. More money spent on an improved body shop with assembly lines.

By the way, the Skoda Superb hybrid sedan will be working with a 1.4-liter TSI engine and an electric unit. Together it will turn out 218 hp power. The power reserve of the novelty is as much as 930 km, and only electric traction will allow to overcome up to 56 km of track.
