About this generation
The third-generation Superb is based on the modular MQB platform and features expressive styling.
The Superb III became the benchmark for the executive class in terms of value. The switch to MQB increased the wheelbase and interior space. Features included DCC adaptive suspension, matrix headlights, and a wide range of electronic assistants. The engine lineup shifted to turbocharged units, including the powerful 2.0 TSI and 2.0 TDI. A plug-in hybrid iV version was added later.
