Restored Toyota Supra appeared on the last teaser before a premier

Toyota is showing the last teaser of Supra, since the model will debut in Detroit on January 14th.

The car is created on the same basis with the brand new BMW Z4. The model will take certain stylistic elements from the FT-1 2014 prototype. The revived Supra will get a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine for 2 turbines, which is present in the 3rd generation BMW Z4. In Europe, Z4 M40i with this unit produces 340 horsepower and 500 Nm. A hundred is given in 4.5 seconds.

It is assumed that in the future, Toyota Supra will receive a version with a 2.0-liter power unit for 260 "horses." Each motor will be able to function with a 6-speed automatic transmission or an eight-band automatic ZF box.
