Paparazzi spotted twin-engine Tesla Model Y

Paparazzi have caught on a road test a Tesla Model Y prototype in the California district of San Luis Obispo.

The luggage door of the electric car has a Dual Motor Performance nameplate, which indicates a twin-engine unit. A similar SUV has an all-wheel-drive system, accelerating to 97 km per hour in 3.5 seconds.

Not so long ago, Tesla announced the introduction of Model Y Performance with all-wheel drive, declassifying some of the details. For such an electric vehicle, the power reserve is 450 km, and the maximum by car can be accelerated to 241 km per hour.

Now it became known that the twin-engine electric car will have external differences from the standard model version. For example, tinted windows at the back, tinted optics, black retractable door handles, and 19-inch Gemini aerodynamic wheels.
