New Volkswagen Golf GTE declassified ahead of schedule

Paparazzi were able to capture the first hybrid version of the Volkswagen Golf GTE eighth generation.

Photos appeared on the website of Motor1, where the car is presented almost without a protective mask. The premiere of the car preparing at the end of 2019.

The novelty can be distinguished from the current model by a sizeable embossed hood, completely different optics, which combined with a narrow-shaped radiator, plus a lower roof. Another vehicle has a brand new company logo, which debuted in Frankfurt.

The car interior takes a minimum of analog buttons and mechanical switches. Many functions controlled by a massive touchscreen, located in a separate unit, which is visual combines with a wholly digital “tidy.” Multimedia downloads updates from cloud storage.

The mechanical part kept in secret. The eighth-generation engine range will include a new family of 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engines and a 1.5-liter diesel engine, replacing the current 1.6-liter unit.
