Audi announced the debut of a compact electric SUV

In Frankfurt, Audi showed a pre-production instance of a new compact cross-country with an electrical installation.

The novelty is named e-tron Sportback. The premiere of a freight car will be held in November this year in Los Angeles.

The dimensions of the "green" SUV locates between the Q2 and Q3 cars — the concept based on MLB. Most likely, the novelty will be the best-selling car in the Audi line. In the Motor1 publication writes that the power of installing will reach 408 hp. For the e-tron Sportback has been prepared two electric motors, an all-wheel-drive Quattro system, and a 95-kilowatt-hour battery. Cruising range is 400 km.

Additionally, the car must provide a sporty variation. Such a vehicle will have the prefix S to the name, and there will be three engines in total.
