Volkswagen announced of the 5-seat Atlas

The Germans company circulated a teaser picture of their novelty Atlas.

This model is still known like Teramont.

In the US the car is offered in a 7-seat version and its length is 5 m. Now Volkswagen has posted a teaser shortened version of the car, where easily fit 5 people. The novelty is made as a partial replacement of the Touareg SUV, because the new generation of this car in the US will not be sold anymore.

The debut of the car will take place in New York at the end of this March, but in the form of a concept. Regarding the composition of the power scale of the 5-seater Volkswagen Atlas, nothing is said, however, suppose, it will be identical to the seven-seat model.

Atlas is powered by a 2.0-liter TSI with an atmospheric 6-cylinder VR6 3.6 liter. The assembly of the 5-seat cross-country will be carried out at the plant where Atlas is currently being manufactured with the Passat, namely, in the American city of Chatanuga.
