Euro NCAP has put the highest rating for new Nissan Leaf
European organization Euro NCAP showed the results of the crash tests of the electric car Nissan Leaf second generation.
After the tests, the Japanese hatch was given the highest rating - 5 stars out of 5. It is reported that safety for the driver with adult passengers reached 93%, protection of children - 86%, and pedestrians - 71%. The safety device could score 71%.
Experts note that the operation of the system of extra auto-braking in the car is mandatory, since Euro NCAP does not provide the highest ball without it. It is said that the first Euro NCAP test, which took into account the function of the extrusive function with possible recognition of bicyclists and pedestrians with poor visibility, was just fine.
