What Will Next Year's WEC Car From BMW Look Like?

BMW should be using the M8 offering for the FIA World Endurance Championship GTE assault in 2018. An artist from Motorsport.com shows how the producer’s contender might look.

The producer from Germany released new into about the project. Mass media reported that BMW decided the M8 to be the base vehicle for the GTE challenger.

The new 8 Series should replace the current 6 Series model range forming the basis for the automaker’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship contender (the M6 GTLM).

The eight-cylinder turbo motor with the displacement 4.4-litres should provide power for the M6 GTLM. The same unit can equip the M8 GTE.

We suppose that the track tests for the new model have already started.
