Volvo Will Not Make Friends With Hydrogen
Volvo’s CEO stated that the Swedish producer will not produce hydrogen fuel-cell cars.
He revealed that the company believes in battery electrification.
The thing is that an innovated infrastructure would be required with hydrogen. The CEO is sure that there is a limit to what customers are going to invest in. So, they decided to focus on the main energy source. Volvo is sure that the main source is electrification as it is rather flexible.
However, the CEO understands that he should never say never.
The company is going to release the 1st electric car in 2 years. The car will have a range of almost 400 km.
