Presentation Dates For New Nissan LEAF

Next year’s Nissan LEAF will be presented worldwide next month in Europe and North America. However, when will the car be shown in America?

If the car is due on September 5th on the old continent and North America, expect to see it in the U.S. on September 14th. It should be presented at the company’s Silicon Valley Research Centre located in California.

The event is exclusive for the SFBayLEAFs group. The membership in the group is obligatory as well as registration for the space-limited show. At 6:00 p.m. there will be reception and in half an hour dinner will be served. At 6:45 p.m. expect to hear a guest speaker. In 15 minutes you will see key note speaker. It will be Brian Maragno. At 7:30 p.m. you will be able to put questions and receive answers. The event will come to its end at 8:00 p.m.

Here is what we found out about the new LEAF. The unit should include 40 kWh battery and range up to 165 miles. The engine will produce 146 hp and torque of 236 pound-feet.
