Next Year's Z4 From BMW With Aero Winglets

We are pretty sure that the Z4 moniker will be left on the unit. Meanwhile the roadster has found some changes for the next generation.

Expect the hardtop to make a fabric roof like in the Z3. This will help the unit to lose weight and enlarge the trunk. The RWD sports vehicle is being created with Toyota. It should be equipped with a hybrid powerplant for the 1st time ever.

Recently the automaker was testing a prototype on a damp Nürburgring. Judging from that, we suppose that the point was stated on aerodynamics as the vehicle featured a couple of big winglets on every side of the bumper at the front.

We don’t know yet which engine will be used for this one. An earlier prototype was equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-litre unit. It produces almost 200 hp.
