New crossovers BMW X2 and X7 will come to Europe in 2018

Next year, in the European markets will be a new compact crossover BMW X2 and a large SUV BMW X7.

The corresponding information was shared by the vice-president of the Bavarian automaker.

Recall that the concept of the model BMW X2 was first shown last year at the Paris Motor Show. The car is built on the basis of the chassis UKL, which is used on the crossover BMW X1. The novelty will receive a diverse range of power units that will supply both with "mechanics" and with "automatic".

Off-road car BMW X7 presented recently, in September this year, at the motor show in Frankfurt. The car is built on the architecture of CLAR. Will be available 6- and 8-cylinder engines in volume 3.0 and 4.4 liters capacity of 340 and 445 horsepower respectively. Length, width and height of the body - 5 020, 2 020 and 1 800 mm. At the same time to date, nothing is known about the engines of the novelty.

The BMW X7 will compete with larger crossovers from Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover and Lexus.
