BMW sketches new roadster for Pebble Beach Concours

The Bavarian brand officially announced the premiere of the conceptual roadster BMW Roadster Concept, and published the first intriguing image of the new open model. It is assumed that this will be the concept that the manufacturer has prepared for the Californian elegance competition Pebble Beach Concours d 'Elegance, scheduled for August 20.

The company BMW constantly brings to this festival any new developments. So, last year the brand showed the version of the 2002 Hommage prototype, dedicated to its first production model with a turbocharger - the 2002 Turbo. In 2015, BMW brought the sports version of the concept 3.0 CSL

Hommage, and before that at Pebble Beach the manufacturer demonstrated a pre-production version of the M4 and a joint roadster with Zagato. It is known that the new car Z-Series will be built on a unique platform, which the Bavarian brand BMW has developed in conjunction with the Japanese auto giant Toyota. Early spy photos of the novelty "said" that the roadster will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, but will get a more modern and stylish exterior design. It is possible that the new concept can be a harbinger of a joint model with Toyota, which is being developed. It will be a roadster with the Z4 index, whose production will be launched in Austria next year.
