America, Say Good Bye To VW Touareg

Toureg from VW is now outsold by the Tiguan. We all will have to say bye to VW Touareg in America. As far as we know, The producer will cut down the unit in the U.S. in 2018. 

The German company has come up with an innovated Atlas on the market and the Tiguan offered for $25,345 for the regular front-wheel-drive models. Note that the Tiguan in North American guise if longer than the current Touareg. Besides, it provides more cargo space by 57%. 

Moreover, the Touareg does no well for the automaker in the U.S. It aired in America in 2003. During its first years the unit beat 5-digit sales numbers. Back in 2012 it overcame the 10,000 mark. Since that time the sales went down. 

Just 4,223 cars were purchased by clients in 2016. For this year, the sales went down by 26% in comparison with the last year.
