All BMW and MINI Owners Will Have Amazon Alexa Support Next Year

All models of the BMW auto company and its subsidiary brand MINI will be equipped with personal voice assistant Amazon Alexa. Integration of assistants into cars will begin in the middle of 2018.

Voice Assistant Amazon Alexa, based on the cloud service, is able to function without a smartphone. The application is controlled by the built-in SIM card. Also, this technology will allow the owner to access a number of services that were previously available only on Echo devices.

Thus, the online connection will work anywhere and anytime, which ensures the uninterrupted work of the Amazon Alexa assistant. Owners of BMW and MINI cars will be able to learn the weather for their intended purpose, edit their personal schedule or listen to their favorite songs.
