The Most Expensive 21st-Century Vehicle Ever Auctioned

Ferrari has changed its plans after the terrible earthquakes in Italy.

Another LaFerrari coupe should be built. You should know that all the profit from the sale should benefit the reconstruction of central Italy that has suffered from the natural disaster.

The company has auctioned LaFerrari number 500 for $7,000,000! Before that its record stood at more than $1.8M. The vehicle was auctioned in Florida at the Finali Mondiali event. The one-off SP275 SW Competizione and the track-only 488 Challenge were also presented there.

The bidding war was rather intense and lasted for about 10 minutes.

You shoud also know that this LaFerrari was the most valuable auctioned vehicle constructed in the 21 century.

2 official Scuderia Ferrari F1 racing gloves and suits were auctioned. One of them was signed by Sebastian Vettel and the other one featured an autograph of Kimi Raikkonen. These items raised $36,000 for the worthy purpose.
