The M5 Pure Metal Silver from BMW Will Rock 600 HP in America

BMW has prepared 2 special editions for us!

One of them is the M5 Competition Edition. That’s a limited-run offering that will be marketed in the whole world. Meanwhile the M5 Pure Metal Silver is meant for the U.S. only. Actually, the Pure Metal is not a wholly innovated edition as it was presented in South Africa last October.

The familiar 4.4-litre biturbo eight-cylinder engine producing 600 hp and torque of 516 pound-feet. The vehicle is regular and features the Competition and M Driver’s pack having an assortment of updates. The vehicle’s top speed is 190 mph.

The Pure Metal Silver M5 has been equipped with 20-inch forged wheels. Also it has been lowered by 0.4 inches in comparison with the regular vehicle. Besides, the stabilizers and spring damper systems feature a stiffer set-up. This particular model can be had only in Pure Metal Silver. It is said that this paint work is the most expensive among the company’s Individual choices. The kidney enclosure is finished in black and the M Performance exhaust has a carbon bezel.

Inside the cabin you will find full leather Merino upholstery with contrast stitching. Besides, there is an individually-numbered badge. It supposed to denote that the M5 is not the run-of-the-mill one. Just 50 vehicles will be available. All of them will rock full LED headlamps, a head-up display, keyless entry and lots of other tweaks.

BMW USA will start taking orders for the considered vehicle in August. The price will be $130,900 (without the $995 handling fees and destination).
