The Best-Selling High-End Sedan in America: Tesla Model S
Tesla enjoyed 59% growth in third quarter Model S sales in comparison with the last year.
It has moved 9,156 units. Therefore, this is the best-selling high-end sedan in America. It overcame such cars as the BMW 7 Series and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The American automaker says it is responsible for almost a 3rd of all sales in this segment. The company’s facts say that 28,856 cars were marketed in the 3rd quarter of this year.
The Tesla Model X is also quite popular. 5,428 units were sold for a 6% share in the high-end SUV market. The most units of the Model X the automaker has marketed in a quarter after production moments hampered early deliveries. Even though the Tesla Model X overcame Porsche and Land Rover units, there still are 7 other models from different producers, such as Volvo, Lexus, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
