Tesla searches for the new logo for its innovated Model 3.

Everybody knows that Tesla’s CEO wanted his Model S, Model 3 and Model X to spell “SEX” together. However, Ford claimed the rights to the Model E. The CEO said that Ford attempted “to kill sex.”The Model E had to become the Model 3. Now, right before the version’s presentation, the automaker has applied for a trademark on the vehicle’s logo.

Despite the vehicle will be named Tesla Model 3, it looks very similar to Tesla Model E. The symbol “3” actually is the letter.

The trademark application describes the mark in such a way: “three equal length horizontal styled lines in a manner of a horizontal stylized roman numeral III. Besides, the mark reminds of the Chinese sign for the corresponding number. However, even if perceive it as Chinese, the three horizontal lines are not equal in length.

The company is really interested in inserting the idea that the Model 3 is a Model E. Let us see if Ford has something to say about this.
