Marchione Considers a New Dodge Viper Possibility

One of the reports suggests that the famous Dodge Viper could get an innovated successor.

The CEO revealed at FCA’s annual briefing that happened during this year’s Auto Show in Detroit that there is a chance that an innovated Viper can be presented with a new architecture.

The director made a comment about the model saying that it “was, has been, a labour of love”. The boss did not specify any possible schedules.

In case Dodge decides to give green light to the innovated Viper, the high-performance offering will receive the platform of the Alfa Romeo Giulia. Besides, it will also be a base for a few new cars of the Italian company. If all this is truth, consider it to be a great technical jump for the Viper. We remind you that now it is equipped with an old platform and ten-cylinder naturally aspirated engine.

Other news informs that the Giulia architecture can be applied for replacements of the Dodge Charger and Challenger and an innovated smaller sports vehicle.
