Get acquainted with the list of nominees for the next year’s World Car of the Year award.
A non-profit committee has been organized. It consists of automotive journalists from all around the globe. They come from 22 different countries. Everything started back in 2004. In order to take part, a car has to be new and available for sale in no less than 5 countries on 2 continents.
Next year’s Motor Show held in Geneva will name us the top 3 finalists. The next year’s Auto Show held in NY will announce the winners. The MX-5 Miata from Mazda won this year’s World Car of the Year.
