Death of the Dodge Viper

FCA stated that Dodge Viper production will come to its end next year.

In order to celebrate the 25 anniversary and final year of the Dodge Viper production, the company came up with a range of 5 special edition vehicles. All of them will be possible to buy as 2017 model year cars starting from June 24.

The Viper 1:28 Edition ACR commemorates the ACR’s lap record (Laguna Seca Raceway) standing at 1:28.65. There are ACR stripes, a custom vehicle cover matching the exterior and red accent stitching. 28 1:28 Edition vehicles will be marketed.

The Viper GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR  has the most iconic Viper paint job. Feturing white stripes seen on the Viper GTS-R GT2 Championship Edition (1998). This version boasts the extreme aero pack, red stryker decal, red seatbelts, carbon ceramic brakes, USA flag decals on the b-pillar, a serialized instrument panel, exterior carbon pack and a custom vehicle cover. There will be 100 units marketed.

The Viper VooDoo II Edition looks like the original Viper VooDoo Edition (2010). It comes with carbon ceramic brakes, a custom vehicle cover, the extreme aero package, a graphite metallic stripe with red tracer outline, VooDoo II badges and silver accent stitching inside. 31 units will be marketed.

The Viper will end next year. According to a rumour, we should expect a new model.
