Aperta Moniker for an Open-Top LaFerrari from Ferrari

Ferrari will probably call the roofless LaFerrari the Aperta.

The vehicle will be presented at the Motor Show in Paris. It will happen in October. Autocar reports that there are indications of the considered name on the Prancing Horse's Webpage.

The automaker’s online announcement provides a few pictures of the roofless LaFerrari. It is possible to see its file name “laferrari-aperta-news”. The automaker would not provide the title to a photo, but there’s a reason for this. Oter photos of the vehicle on the same page feature “limited-edition-special-series” in the file name.

The LaFerrari convertible is gorgeous, especially in black and red accents. Not so many of clients were lucky as the automaker tweaks the aerodynamics. Te carbon fibber tub will be upgraded to be able to maintain the earlier offering’s rigidity. A twelve-cylinder unit with hybrid will produce 950 hp and torque of 664 pound-feet.

The Aperta name is used on the limited run droptops and the LaFerrari without roof comes into this group as well. Not long ago the designation was seen on the 458 Speciale A. Earlier the moniker was seen on the one-off P540 Superfast Aperta and a limited-run 599.
