Porsche tops the J.D. Power APEAL Study during 12 years.
The 2016 J.D. Power U.S. APEAL Study searches level of excitement and emotional attachment among the owners. There are 77 attributes starting from the power felt while accelerating to the comfort and luxury sense. All the attributes will be combined into an overall score with 1,000-point scale.
New cars with safety features help to raise APEAL scores for some producers. Overall scores were higher if the cars had blind spot monitoring. Collision avoidance also attributed.
The overall industry APEAL score grew higher by 3 points with the innovated or major restyled offerings for this year. They scored higher than their segment average.
