400,000 Pre-Orders of Tesla Model 3
Almost 400,000 clients have pre-ordered the Model 3 EV from Tesla. The company’s CEO spilt the information at a conference held in Norway. He revealed that the interest in their new offering surprised everyone, even themselves. In April 7 there were 325,000 pre-orders.
Every client is able to reserve a vehicle by putting down a $1,000 deposit. The thing is that it is fully refundable. The money can be obtained back at any time. Moreover, the sum can be used for purchasing the other product of the producer.
During the 1st available day there were180,000 pre-orders on the considered offering.
An early variant of the vehicle was introduced by the company on March 31. The customers could clearly see what the new car will present both outside and inside. The base price for the offering will kick off starting from $35,000. Meanwhile the fully-electric driving range will handle more than 215 miles.
Tesla is going to start manufacturing the car in the second part of 2017. So, the deliveries will begin sometime then as well. However, due to the long list, customers will have to wait a while to receive their vehicles.
