Volvo is Creating a Car which Can fuel Itself

Is it really possible for a car to fill itself with fuel? Actually, no, but a new service from Volvo has almost developed it.

According to the reports, the Swedish company is creating a system which will warn a mobile fuel vehicle when it is needed to fill the tank with the help of the owner’s smartphone. The car’s driver will have a single use access code to the specific fuel tank. Therefore, the driver will be able to fill the tank without the owner’s presence.

The company did not exactly answer the direct question about creating this technology. It only said “maybe”. Nevertheless, it is plain that the automaker is going to integrate smartphone connectivity into their vehicles. Klas Bendric, who is Volvo’s chief of technology told in his interview with Daily Mail that the wide usage of smartphones is giving new opportunities in connecting a vehicle with a customer.

According to Bendric, Volvo has already tested an innovated system of packages delivery directly to your car. He hinted that the automaker is interested in this kind of technology.
