V6 engine and an Innovated Offering

Ferrari CEO has told about a six-cylinder prepared for future.

In his conversation with Top Gear, the CEO revealed that the engine is going to be introduced in an innovated offering as it is impossible to do a bigger one with six cylinders. Mysterious prototypes were caught during testing not far from the brand’s headquarters.

Meanwhile, an engineer from Ferrari shared with the publication that there are some more challenges as the brand is going to make the engine generate 200 hp (or 149 kW) per litre. Though, such characteristics put enormous stress on components of the engine. The worker continued saying that the unit is not completed yet. Though, it is originated on the 3.9-litre eight-cylinder taken from the 488 GTB. It will probably output 580 hp (or 432 kW).
