$29,270 for 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

Toyota has disclosed the price and fuel economy about the next year’s RAV4 Hybrid.

The 2016 prepared the hybrid version of the automaker’s compact crossover. On the contrary to the petrol offerings, this petrol-electric car rides with four-wheel drive. The cheapest offering is the XLE trimmed model. Its price is $29,270 together with destination. Meanwhile, a fully loaded RAV4 Hybrid Limited costs $34,510. In such a way, we receive a $700 difference between the cars.

Hybrid vehicles have earned 34 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. In combination, we receive 31 mpg.

The RAV4 Hybrid is equipped with a 2.5-litre V4 motor. It is joined to a high-torque electric mill and a nickel-metal hydride battery package. When combined, the motors produce 194 hp and torque of 206 lb-ft. The vehicle is able to reach 60 mph on 8.1 seconds. It is one second faster than the petrol offering.

The next year’s RAV4 is one of the first cars in the automaker’s range which will receive the TSS (Toyota Safety Sense) suite of technology. TSS is regular on the top-list Limited trim levels and optional on XLE offerings. The technology provides automatic high beams, a forward collision warning system with automatic braking, pedestrian pre-collision system, dynamic radar cruise control and lane departure warning system.

The Hybrid set-up occupies only 2.8 cubic-feet of storage space. All offerings under consideration will have 2 years of complimentary company’s Care Service.
