Toyota Camry is going turbo in the nearest future
Toyota Camry is going to be equipped with a turbocharger 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
Automotive News is informing that the engine will substitute certain V6 in different Toyota and Lexus models in the forthcoming years. Not long ago, the company claimed that the 2016 Lexus IS would change initial 2.5-liter V6 for the new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder which generates 241 bhp (179 kW) and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque.
Though, the company’s predominant four-cylinder engines will maintain to be naturally-aspirated, but should gain from a more effective Atkinson-cycle combustion process and advanced continuously variable transmissions.
